Every DeFi transaction follows the same path: (1) you create the transaction in your wallet, (2) you sign it with your private key, (3) it's broadcast to the network, (4) a validator includes it in a block, (5) the block is confirmed. On Base, steps 3-5 happen in about 2 seconds.
